My clinical practice and offering of Traditional Medicine is rooted firmly in the principles and theory described in the classical texts – a collection of prominent works compiled by physicians in China between 200 BCE and 200 CE.
The therapeutic focus of my treatments is a restoration of balance where irregularities have disrupted the regular function of systems within the body. This involves a process of traditional diagnostic methods, using palpatory techniques and an analysis of symptoms, past and present, to determine an individualised therapeutic treatment.
Japanese acupuncture and moxibustion techniques are the primary methods used to draw the body to a deeply relaxed, restorative state, where healing can best take place.
